The SlimSAS 8i SFF-8654 to 2 X SFF-8639 U.3 Cable is designed to connect a SlimSAS connector to two SFF-8639 U.3 connectors. This cable has been tested and validated for high-speed data transfer rates up to 20 Gbps, ensuring that you can take full advantage of the bandwidth capabilities of your storage device. The cable is also backward compatible with previous versions of the SAS protocol and works with both SAS and SATA drives. This cable is ideal for connecting an internal storage device, such as a hard drive or solid-state drive in your server, to an external storage device, such as a RAID controller. This cable is compatible with Dell PowerEdge R740XD and R640 servers.
